Keynote

Crypto Exchange Binance has launched an AI platform called Safugpt. The platform combines self-hosted DeepSeek with Microsoft Hosted GPT-4 models. Using this new initiative, Binance aims to help developers create secure products for their users.

Top Cryptocurrency Exchange Binance launched the second half of 2025 with the launch of Safugpt. The CEO of the company Richard Teng announced the debut of a customized artificial intelligence (AI) platform early today, using X. He emphasized that the launch is geared towards empowering developers.

We have deployed our own #SafuGPT, our own secure, smart, and fully customized AI platform.

It’s all about strengthening our team’s faster and smarter builds, and always with our #Safu principles leading the way.

Understanding Binance Safugpt

To further strengthen leadership and dominance in the digital exchange ecosystem, Binance has introduced a secure, intelligent, fully customizable AI platform. This unique, large-scale language model (LLM), called Safugpt, is designed to revolutionize how Exchange developers build and innovate within their ecosystem.

It is designed to increase productivity for these builders while maintaining strict security and privacy standards. The AI platform utilizes a blend of self-hosted DeepSeek and Microsoft-Hosted GPT-4 models. As a result, it offers users cutting-edge AI capabilities and data protection. We also operate the principles of Binance’s Secure Asset Fund for User (SAFU).

This further suggests that its focus is on protecting users and Exchange data. Safugpt has several outstanding features, such as per-offline internet control. It will strongly restrict web access unless necessary, thereby minimizing the risk of data breaches that have been plaguing the cryptocurrency industry for some time.

To create a customized AI agent, developers can upload resource files such as training guides, FAQs, and legal documents. By leveraging Safugpt’s top-level model, Binance plans to stay ahead of the point of innovation and progress. Additionally, the AI platform supports both read and read-only modes.

This approach encourages collaboration while ensuring sensitive inside information is protected from unauthorized changes or disclosure.

Binance CEO lists three safety rules for navigating Web3

The launch of Safugpt comes as the digital asset industry is keen to data security and investor protection. Data breaches are becoming increasingly common within the cryptocurrency ecosystem. In 2024, the crypto market recorded up to $3.6 billion in crypto fraud and cyber threats. To this end, users need to pay more attention to their operations.

A few days ago, Teng provided insights on how users can effectively navigate Web3 spaces. Teng emphasized that crypto users should “always check” before trusting the platform.

They may need to reaffirm the reliability of distributed applications (DAPP). In this way, they can minimize exposure to data breaches and ultimately make theft a property.

Binance executives also urged crypto users to cross-reference all sites with the project’s official documentation or social media channels before taking any other actions. He did not fail to remind his followers that Dapps is a third-party work and not developed or approved by Binance Wallet.

Understanding this distinction can help users take greater responsibility for their actions and potential outcomes. Using this information makes users more likely to pay greater attention, just like traditional third-party finance services.
