Consumer sentiment was even worse than expected in April, and was closely watched on Friday as the expected inflation levels since 1981 reached its highest level of expected inflation, according to a University of Michigan survey.The survey’s mid-month reading on consumer sentiment fell to 50.8, below the Dow Jones Consensus estimate of 54.6, from 57.0 in March.
