Which artists will perform at the California FireAid benefit concert?

LOS ANGELES — A star-studded lineup of musicians including Billie Eilish, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Joni Mitchell will perform at a benefit concert aimed at wildfire recovery and relief later this month, organizers announced Thursday. .

“FireAid” will be held on January 30th at the Intuit Dome and Kia Forum in Inglewood, Los Angeles area, and will feature a number of artists with ties to California.

Tickets will go on sale Wednesday at noon through Ticketmaster, AEG announced. The funds will be used for short- and long-term relief.

The Palisades and Eaton fires have killed at least 27 people and forced tens of thousands to evacuate. The Los Angeles Fire Department chief said it would be one of the worst natural disasters in the city’s history.

Millions of dollars have been donated in the wake of the devastating fire that destroyed an estimated thousands of homes in the Pacific Palisades and Altadena-Pasadena areas.

Steve Ballmer, owner of the Los Angeles Clippers, who play at the Intuit Dome, has pledged $15 million. Other Hollywood, sports organizations and celebrities have also donated, including the Walt Disney Corporation, which donated $15 million.

Ticket sales and viewing methods

Ticket sales are scheduled to begin at noon local time (3:00 p.m. ET) on Wednesday through Ticketmaster.

The concert begins on January 30th at 6pm local time (9pm ET).

Concerts at both venues will be held at the same time, and a ticket for one will not entitle you to both.

Organizers say the event will be widely broadcast and will also be shown in select AMC theaters.

It will also be broadcast online or on the Apple Music and Apple TV apps. Max; iHeartRadio; KTLA+; Netflix/Tudam; Paramount+; Amazon Music channels on Prime Video and Twitch. SiriusXM; Spotify; Soundcloud; Pee Pee. And YouTube.

Donations

Donations to FireAid will be donated to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and distributed under the advice of the Annenberg Foundation, a philanthropic foundation, organizers said.

The group’s website says the money will go toward “short-term relief efforts and long-term efforts to prevent future fires.”

In addition to ticket sales, donations can also be made on the FireAid website.
