REAL launches a private execution layer for RWA agencies. ZKsync technology enables secure on-chain payments via Ethereum. The platform aims to bridge the privacy gap in the use of blockchain in institutions.
REAL introduces a confidential execution layer designed to support regulated financial institutions operating in the tokenized real-world asset (RWA) market, addressing one of the key barriers to widespread institutional adoption of blockchain-based finance.
Built using ZKsync’s Prividium technology, the new layer operates in parallel with REAL’s public Layer 1 network.
According to the company, this will allow financial institutions to keep their position, allocation, and counterparty data private while benefiting from public payments and liquidity through Ethereum.
The company said the confidentiality layer is intended to provide privacy controls without compromising compliance, liquidity, and distribution, allowing financial institutions to participate in on-chain markets while maintaining the confidentiality required for regulated financial operations.
Sensitive infrastructure targets organizational needs
REAL said the new execution layer is designed to bridge the gap between public blockchain infrastructure and the operational requirements of regulated financial institutions.
The company noted that while public blockchains offer benefits such as global access, instant payments, and composability, financial institutions are reluctant to do business on networks where sensitive information such as positions, financial strategies, and counterparty relationships are publicly visible.
The confidential layer settles transactions on Ethereum, allowing institutions to access broader on-chain capital markets while maintaining operational privacy, rather than operating within an isolated private network.
Platform supports regulated financial workflows
According to REAL, the Confidential Execution Layer is built to support a variety of organizational workflows where privacy is considered essential.
These include asset and wealth management activities that require protected portfolio information, balance sheet operations, tokenized deposit models, and selective disclosure capabilities to auditors, compliance teams, and regulators as appropriate.
The company said institutions utilizing the platform will continue to benefit from blockchain-native payments, distribution, and liquidity while avoiding the need to expose sensitive business activities on a completely public network.
This launch also extends REAL’s broader strategy to support the entire lifecycle of tokenized real-world assets within a compliance-focused infrastructure.
The company said its platform covers issuance, risk assessment, insurance, trading and institutional execution under a single architecture designed for regulated financial markets.
REAL expands institutional blockchain products
REAL describes itself as an institutional blockchain infrastructure provider focused on compliant real-world asset tokenization and risk-managed capital flows.
Built on Cosmos Tendermint, the platform supports multiple stages of on-chain financial products including issuance, compliance, liquidity, insurance, risk assessment, and trading.
The company said its dual validator architecture combines technical validators with business validators such as tokenizers, risk scorers, insurance companies and credit bureaus to provide an infrastructure aimed at institutional trust.
The confidential execution layer uses ZKsync’s Prividium privacy technology. It is designed to allow regulated entities to operate on-chain with configurable confidentiality, selective disclosure, and payments on Ethereum.
