Attorney General Pam Bondy accused the Justice Department of Fire on Friday of overthrowing members of National Security Guard deployed in Washington, D.C., as part of President Donald Trump’s efforts to mitigate crime in the city, Justice Department officials confirmed.

According to a memo submitted by Bondi, its truthfulness was confirmed by the DOJ, with employee Elizabeth Baxter working as a paralegal expert in the department’s environmental and natural resources sector.

The New York Post first reported Baxter’s end.

“On the basis of your inappropriate conduct against a National Guard service member, your employment with the Department of Justice will be terminated here and you will be removed from effective federal services immediately,” Bondy wrote in a memo confirmed by the Department of Justice.

Justice Department officials told NBC News that Baxter was seen and heard using vulgar gestures and shouted to protect members on multiple occasions.

NBC News has not independently confirmed the charges, but the incident is said to have occurred several times in the past two weeks.

Justice Department spokesman Gates McGavik praised the fire on Friday, writing, “If they don’t support law enforcement, Attorney General Pam Bondy might not be appropriate.”

The fire will be the second time Bondi terminated a Department of Justice employee this month due to actions deemed inappropriate against law enforcement officials.

A few weeks ago, Bondy fired a paralegal in the department after being caught on camera for throwing sandwiches at customs and border security agents outside the popular nightlife area of DC, which she wrote at the time.

Bondy initially tried to secure a felony charge against the employee, but Sean Dunn refused to return the charges to the Great Ju trial. This signalled that local residents did not identify any possible causes that could support the accusation. US District Attorney Janine Piro instead charged Dan with misdemeanor assault.

Trump has consistently promoted his efforts to mitigate crime in DC. This had already declined to be extremely successful, pointing out that it would decrease even further this month with carjacking-like behavior. However, the effort has faced criticism from Democrats and protests from residents of D.C., many of which characterize Trump’s operations as exaggerated and horrifying tactics and racial motives.
