The 2025 Four Nations showdown in Montreal on Saturday faced Canada in an elite hockey matchup kicked off in three fights between rivals on each side in the first nine seconds.

Shortly after the puck fell, two seconds after the game, US team Matthew Tokachuk and Team Canada’s Brandon Hagel dropped their gloves, a broadcast video from the game showed.

Then came Matthew’s brother Brady Tokachuk and Canada’s Sam Bennett, a forward who plays for the Florida Panthers.

Finally, the New York Rangers forwarded Canadian JT Miller and Colton Pareiko, alternative captains of the St. Louis Blues, and traded something so much fun.

Miller was punished by his side and the game continued.

Before the puck fell and players were brawled, it was a Canadian fan who expressed dissatisfaction with Team USA, with boos and American players introduced during “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
