Denver – Prosecutors Friday have shown evidence that a Colorado dentist accused of murdering his wife tried to bring a fellow inmate to kill a detective investigating him. It is set to be presented.
James Craig has been accused of poisoning his wife’s protein shaking almost two years ago, and hastily cyanide in potassium cyanide that he said he needed a patient after police said arsenic didn’t kill her It is said that the shipment of the product was ordered.
Late last year, prosecutors filed new charges against him. Solicitation to commit murder and solicitation to commit perjury. The claims didn’t say who Craig wanted to kill him, but police in Aurora, Colorado confirmed that the suspected target in the murder was a detective in the case.
Prosecutors provide details about what they think happened at the hearing Friday afternoon, to convince them that Craig should also be charged with these charges during the trial. I plan to do so.
Craig’s trial is late and no new dates have been set yet.
Craig pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and tampering with evidence. Call messages left to Craig’s defense attorneys, Lisa Moses and Robert Walking, were not immediately returned.
Angela Craig, 43, died in March 2023 from poisoning with cyanide and tetrahydrozoline. The couple had been married for 23 years and had six children together.
