Phantom has begun rolling out in-app access to prediction markets through a new integration with Kalshi, a regulated event trading platform.
This feature allows Phantom users to speculate on real-world outcomes such as sports, politics, and crypto events directly from the wallet interface without creating a separate account or transferring funds to another platform.
The partnership, announced on December 11, introduces a seamless way to trade real money Yes or No positions in hundreds of markets. Users can fund their trades using tokens already present in their Phantom wallet, including CASH, without the need to interact with complex order books or external platforms.
This feature incorporates live chat for each market, allowing users to discuss trades and monitor sentiment in real-time. Market details, prices, and updates are displayed natively, and Phantom notifies users when results or claims are available.
This deployment expands the use case for crypto wallets beyond asset storage and DeFi, making Phantom one of the first wallets to offer direct access to the US regulated event market.
