Marte’s mother died in a car accident in 2017.
Fans that MLB did not identify have made some mild remarks about MARTE’s late mother, MLB.com reported.
The White Sox have kicked out a 22-year-old man who made a comment. A team spokesman admitted the man was “very apologised and regretted” and was inappropriate, MLB.com reported.
The White Sox showed support for Marte, on display in the second game of Wednesday’s three-game series, “Baseball is Family” and “The White Sox Community Supports Keter Marte.”
