Influencer Emily Kaiser’s husband could face felony child abuse charges in the drowsing death of his 3-year-old son Trigg in an Arizona backyard pool.
Chandler Police Department said on Tuesday X that Trigg’s May 18 death and “following a thorough review of the evidence, investigators recommended a class-four felony charge of child abuse against Brady Kaiser.”
The case was filed with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office for review.
Police and the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office did not immediately respond to a request for comment Wednesday.
Trigg died six days after it was found unconscious in a backyard pool. Phoenix’s NBC affiliate KPNX reported that own death occurred at Kizer’s home, and Trigg was hospitalized in a critical condition until his death.
Brady Kiser told police that Trigg was distracted by the couple’s young son when he left, according to a search warrant affidavit obtained by KPNX. He says he lost sight of Trigg for a few minutes before going outside and checking him out.
Brady Kiser, whom his wife said she was with friends at the time, was called 911.
Emilie Kiser, who has built millions of followers across Tiktok and Instagram with content from mom and wife, has not commented publicly on her son’s death. In May, she filed lawsuits against several Maricopa County public servants to protect records of her son’s death. The judge temporarily blocked the release of the record last month.
Her attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment Wednesday.
