Longtime Ethereum (ETH) developer Danny Ryan recently announced that he will be joining Etherealize, an organization selling the EthereAm Ecosystem to institutional investors, alongside Vivek Raman.
Ryan said that by bridging Ethereum to the real world, he complements Raman’s focus in bridging the real world to Ethereum. Developer added:
“This is at the confluence of actual adoption, common sense regulations, ecosystem development and important R&D across the L1, L2 and application layers. We plan to become an active player in the Ethereum sector.”
The announcement comes amidst the changing leadership at the Ethereum Foundation, another entity leading the development of the Ethereum Consensus Layer and Ecosystem, and the fear of investors from inadequate actions of Ethereum price violations.

Ethereum Foundation Overhauls amid declining investor sentiment
Buterin announced its sole authority over Ethereum Foundation leadership in January 2025, rebuking the online community for attacks on Ethereum Foundation officials.
If you “keep the pressure up,” you are actively creating a toxic environment for top talent,” Butarin wrote in the January 21st X-Post.
As part of the management overhaul, the foundation raided through new organizations responsible for managing and promoting various aspects of the Ethereum ecosystem.
Etherealize educates institutional investors, including Wall Street Firms, Hedge Funds and Asset Managers about Ethereum, and serves as the marketing arm of the world’s largest smart contract ecosystem.
Following the announcement of Etherealize’s marketing division, the Ethereum Foundation has launched the Silviculture Society. This is an advisory group that supports Ethereum’s core values of open source development, privacy, security, decentralization and resistance to censorship.

At the time of writing, the Sylviculture Society has 15 members. However, it is unclear whether the council will grow over time.
Ethereum struggled to regain its previous all-time high of around $4,800 in 2021, causing a disruption of confidence among investors who petitioned Vitalik Buterin to take Ethereum in a new direction.
