Katy Perry nearly fell on top of the audience members on Friday as she performed in the air at a concert in San Francisco.

According to some videos of the horrifying moments posted on X, the prop fell several feet above the audience while singing her hit “Roar” on a fake giant butterfly.

Perry, 40, temporarily stopped singing, stabilized herself and continued her performance, the video shows.

The incident occurred while Perry was doing her “life tour” at Chase Center. The malfunction occurred towards the final leg of the concert, which helped Perry ease his anxiety.

Perry appears to be dealing with the incident on her Instagram story on Saturday, posting a screenshot of her face as the props fell a few feet, writing “Goodnight San Franc.”

The pop star representative did not immediately return a request for comment.

Perry’s airborne malfunction came weeks after a similar incident occurred during his appearance in Australia.

While riding a flying sphere during the show, the sphere begins to tilt, and Perry clings to a wire holding the prop, and is a video of the incident posted to X’s show.

A similar air malfunction occurred at last month’s Beyonce concert.

While performing on her “Cowboy Carter” tour in Houston last month, Beyoncé temporarily paused the live show after flying car props appeared to be malfunctioning while in the air.

“If I fall, I know I’ll catch everything,” Beyoncé later told the crowd.
