Geneva, Switzerland, October 10, 2026 — The TRONDAO, a community-focused decentralized autonomous organization (DAO), has recently made headlines as the title sponsor of TOKEN2049 in Singapore and attended the Digital Asset Summit (DAS) Asia 2026 held at Marina Bay Sands. Justin Sun, the founder of TRON, took part in various discussions during these events, addressing topics such as the future of stablecoins, the role of institutional adoption, advancements in AI-driven commerce, and the essential need for resilient blockchain technology in the face of quantum computing.
During his appearance on October 7, Sun participated in a fireside chat alongside Michael Ippolito, co-founder of Blockworks, where they delved into a range of subjects including the trajectory of stablecoins, the integration of institutional finance with digital assets, and TRON’s significant contributions to the evolving digital asset economy.
Sun emphasized the critical importance of tokenized assets, particularly stablecoins, in serving as a reliable financial infrastructure, especially for cross-border transactions and accessing US-based digital assets. He also highlighted the increasing significance of AI agents in financial transactions, predicting that in the near future, these intelligent systems will manage payments, procure digital services, and handle various financial activities autonomously.
On October 8, Sun engaged in another discussion titled “Fireside Chat with Justin Sun” at TOKEN2049 with Kevin Follonier, founder of When Shift Happens. The conversation examined the future landscape of blockchain technology, stablecoins, and AI agents, while also addressing the imperative of preparing blockchain networks for the era of quantum computing. Sun noted that TRON has already initiated steps towards achieving a post-quantum readiness, including the deployment of end-to-end post-quantum signature support on its Nile testnet.
Sun further elaborated on the underlying mathematics of the encryption safeguarding blockchain systems and introduced the Justin Sun Prize, described as “the Nobel Prize of the AI era.” This award serves as a zero-trust, decentralized mechanism for recognizing groundbreaking achievements in fundamental research, thereby fostering collaboration between human intellect and AI.
“AI agents using cryptography will become the industry’s biggest use case within the next five years,” asserted Sun. “As AI agents begin trading, paying, and operating autonomously, blockchain will become the financial infrastructure behind them. TRON’s focus is to provide a fast, efficient, and accessible payments layer that can support this next generation of global finance.”
TRONDAO also established a dedicated booth at TOKEN2049, offering attendees insights into the broader TRON ecosystem, including its involvement in stablecoin transactions and decentralized applications. In addition, the organization hosted a networking event aimed at fostering connections among creators and media professionals, encouraging an exchange of ideas and experiences among industry leaders.
Throughout both events, discussions consistently highlighted TRON’s commitment to constructing a robust blockchain infrastructure, one that is adaptable to a rapidly changing financial environment characterized by stablecoins, tokenized assets, AI agents, and a resilient network of digital assets.
About TRON DAO: Established in September 2017, TRON DAO is dedicated to promoting the decentralization of the internet through blockchain solutions and decentralized applications. Since launching its MainNet in May 2018, TRON has seen remarkable growth, currently hosting the largest supply of the USD Tether (USDT) stablecoin, exceeding $94 billion. According to TRONSCAN, as of October 2026, the TRON blockchain has amassed over 407 million total user accounts, executed more than 15 billion transactions, and reported a total value locked (TVL) exceeding $28 billion, positioning TRON as a crucial facilitator of stablecoin transactions and everyday purchases worldwide.
